My dog has developed many Hot Spots in her belly
Review of Evolutionsupply Skinplex and Enzymes and RenuPlex Shampoo for dog hot spots
Hi all, I wanted to share some some information with you regarding my Golden Retriever. About a month back she started to develop a skin rash and was licking and scratching all of the time. Her coat was literally falling off, and the rest she seemed to be chewing. It actually got so bad that the dog hot spots began to bleed and blister. We eventually went to the veterinarian and he prescribed a cream as well as steroids. While the cream had some success the steroids made her bloat up and gave her just horrible digestive issues (yes diarrhea) and her mood become bad. We never experienced such a bad case of hot spots on dogs that we had for many years. Eventually we stopped the steroids and skin infection stayed the same. We continued the prescribed cream, but like I said not sure how much it really helped. By now these dog hot spots began to form dry and itchy skin around them making her whole body even worse. In fact another passed and the poor thing was in so much pain. We tried medicated dog shampoos, even used coal tar, but had little success. So back to the veterinarian we go and she gave us a new antibiotic cream just for, as she said severe cases of hot spots on dogs and Candida yeast infection. Well it turns out that this cream was also steroid based and while it did help more than the first one, it came with even worse side effects so eventually we stopped it as well. We finally stumbled upon evolution pet supply at www.evolutionsupply.com and tried their products for dog hot spots and after about a week we saw a small improvement and by week 3 over 50% of the skin problems and sores were healed. By months end we were just about back to normal. Now here skin is wonderful and she does not scratch or itch herself anymore. They had a choice of products like a medicated shampoo, a moisturizing spray, salmon oil and enzymes. Remember that Shampoo alone with not cure dog hot spots, enzymes should also be used.
How we used the Skinplex enzymes and Renuplex dog shampoo on her dog hot spots
We went with the dog shampoo, enzymes, and spray. Used the shampoo two times a week for 2 weeks and then once a week. Used the spray every day for first 2 weeks and then about once a week after that. Used the enzymes everyday (she loves them, u just sprinkle a little bit over their food in morning.) I just cant say enough about how well it worked. After speaking with them they indicated that the shampoo and spray will kill the bacteria and growth to let the skin heal and moisturize, but it is the enzymes that actually stop the hot spots and keep them away. For this reason we give her the skinplex enzymes everyday and her coat is doing just so great, we could not be happier! Just wanted to share this article with everyone and recommend evolutionsupply.com – it is nice to see these specalised companies with products that actually work. for us it was the skinplex enzymes and the renuplex dog shampoo. Hope this helps with anyone else’s dog
hot spot problems!
Did you know that there are also many other related dog skin problems which are often mistaken as canine hot spots. Many of these conditions are dry skin, yeast infection, rashes, pimples, and sometimes a bacterial infection.

We had a similar issue and also had great success with their products – the renuplex shampoo actually has some great ingredients and our vet said is a premium shampoo that we should use for now one so we do! also you are right, the skin plex enzymes are what actually keeps the skin problems from coming back
